"London 1966 / 67" was originally recorded for Peter Whitehead and was intended to serve as the soundtrack for his legendary documentary "Tonite Lets All Make Love In London", which tells the story of the swing scene in the 60s.
The film shows rare footage of the 60s lineup. With rare live recordings from the UFO Club and Alexandra Palace and studio performances from Studio Techniques. In sound and vision, we are given a fascinating insight into the early work of one of the most important rock bands in history.
This deluxe box set with 36-page booklet contains two rare songs from the early Floyd era feat. Syd Barrett, when the band was at the height of their experimentation.
Includes a 17-minute version of 'Interstellar Overdrive' recorded at Sound Techique Studio.
