Universal Music has rediscovered a wonderful treasure in the archives and is re-releasing "Rare Diamonds", the first official Best Of album by DORO & WARLOCK, which was originally released in March 1991 on the infamous Vertigo label.

The re-release appears - in a strictly limited edition - for the first time as picture vinyl. The powerful, beautiful tracks cover the first eight years of DORO Pesch's great career.

14 songs for eternity, including the mega-hits "All We Are", "Für Immer" and "True As Steel" - still the fixed stars of every DORO setlist today. DORO comments: "We will also have plenty of songs from 'Rare Diamonds' on the upcoming winter tour through Germany!"

And because DORO has always been a force to be reckoned with on stage, "Rare Diamonds" also features rare live recordings from New York of hits such as "East Meets West" and "Rare Diamond".

This masterpiece also includes "Unholy Love" - one of the top songs from DORO's 1990 solo album, produced by none other than KISS bassist and Doro idol Gene Simmons.

In her 40-year career, DORO has played over 3500 concerts in over 60 countries. She has sold over 12 million records to date and has been able to win over legendary fellow musicians such as Gene Simmons (KISS), Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead), Russ Ballard, Slash (Guns N' Roses), Pete Steele (Type O Negative) and most recently Rob Halford (Judas Priest) for her albums.
