The singer kicked off her album roll out with a bang, releasing the lead single from Addison, “Diet Pepsi,” in August 2024. The infectious summer anthem quickly gained critical praise and commercial success, climbing charts globally and marking her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. A few months later, she followed up with the hypnotic track “Aquamarine,” followed by “High Fashion” earlier 2025. Both songs, along with their captivating music videos, highlight her affinity for fashion and showcase her collaborations with top-tier creatives in the industry, including Dara Allen, Mel Ottenberg, Mitch Ryan, and Dame Pat McGrath, to name a few. The locations of the video shoots are also intentional: “Aquamarine” was filmed in Paris during Fashion Week, while “High Fashion” was shot in Louisiana, paying tribute to the singer’s home state. Most recently, Addison released “Headphones On,” which Harper’s Bazaar praised as another in her “streak of winning singles,” and Pitchfork noted that even her “harshest skeptics have taken to her eccentric singles.” All four singles "Diet Pepsi,” “Aquamarine,” “High Fashion,” and “Headphones On” are featured on Addison, with each track produced by Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd. The duo also co-wrote every song alongside Addison.

Addison first acknowledged her full-length album during a February 2025 cover interview with Rolling Stone, where the legacy publication described the tracks as “hypnotic, trance-like pop songs, pulsating and lush,” designed to get people on their feet and dancing. She made waves with two surprise appearances at Coachella. The first was alongside Arca, where the duo performed "Arcamarine," Arca's take on Addison’s single "Aquamarine." On the second weekend, she delighted fans by joining Charli XCX during her set, and the duo performed their viral remix of “Von Dutch,” featuring Addison’s now-iconic scream, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
